Christmas Countdown Day #2
Tomorrow’s the “big reveal” of the Southern Living Idea House at Fontanel redecorated for the holidays. Nashville has so many creative designers and we want to thank the talented team from ReCreations, headed by co-owner Tim Causey, who wove a little wonder on the pretty farmhouse entrance of the Idea House.
We’ve had 5, 4, 3 – now here’s Day #2 in our Christmas Countdown til the big reveal.
The chevron patterned door, flanked by New Orleans style Bevolo lanterns, is dressed in muted colors. Decorated for the November/December cover of Greater Nashville House & Home, Causey said, “popular this year is the use of no strong color. We are decorating with soft whites, creams, platinum, antique gold with pops of color like black and Robin’s Egg Blue. At the Idea House, we’ve brought in softer color through coffee and olive colored wild berries and topped the door’s wreath with a whimsical feathered pheasant.”
